Take Our Lives and Let Them Be

Take our lives, and let them be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take our moments and our days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take our hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take our feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take our voice, and let us sing
Always, only, for our King;
Take our lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.

Take our silver and my gold;
Not a mite would we withhold;
Take our intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take our wills, for they are Yours;
No more are they simply ours.
For our hearts are e'er Thine own
They are Now Thy royal throne,
They are now Thy royal throne.

Take our love; oh Lord, we pour
At Thy feet our treasure-store.
Take our lives, and we will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

We Love to Tell the Story

We love to tell the story of Israel and God's Love,
of Jesus and his glory, of The Father up above.
We love to tell the story, because we know 'tis true;
He's satisfied our longings as no one else can do.
Refrain:
We love to tell the story, it is our theme of glory,
to tell the old, old story of the Father and his love.

We love to tell the story; more wonderful indeed
than all the golden fancies of all the golden streets.
We love to tell the story, He Lived to bring us near.
and that is just the reason we tell it now so dear.
(Refrain)

We love to tell the story, it is our theme of glory,
to tell the old, old story of the Father and his love.
We love to tell the story; 'tis music to our ears for now, each time we tell it, He calms our deepest fears. We love to tell the story, it tells us of His Word
And how He came from Heaven, to comfort those on Earth.
(Refrain)

We love to tell the story, it is our theme of glory,
to tell the old, old story of the Father and his love.
We love to tell the story, for though we know it well we love to oft rehearse it, the Father's love to tell. And now, in realms of glory, we sing the new, new song, for 'tis the old, old story that we have loved so long.
(Refrain)

We love to tell the story, it is our theme of glory,
to tell the old, old story of the Father and his love.

Resting in the Everlasting Arms

What a fellowship, what a joy we share,
  Resting in the Everlasting Arms!
What a blessedness, what a peace is there,
  Resting in the Everlasting Arms!

Resting, Resting,
Safe and secure from all alarm;
  Resting, Resting
 Resting in the Everlasting Arms.

O how sweet to walk on this King's Highway
  Resting in the Everlasting Arms!
O how bright our path grows from day to day,
  Resting in the Everlasting Arms!

Resting, Resting,
Safe and secure from all alarm;
  Resting, Resting
 Resting in the Everlasting Arms.

What have we to dread, what have we to fear,
 Resting in the Everlasting Arms!
We have peace complete in our Lord so dear,
 Resting in the Everlasting Arms!

Resting, Resting,
Safe and secure from all alarm;
  Resting, Resting
 Resting in the Everlasting Arms.

Where We Belong

Sometimes it feels like I'm watching from the outside
Sometimes it feels like I can't breathe, but I know I'm alive
I'll just keep searching for answers that I know are yet to be found

All I know is we're at home here
This is sure where We belong
He took this world and gave it to us
This is sure where we belong

And when the walls are falling down around us
And it seems we're lost in the current of a raging sea
We have this blessed assurance, re-ality

All I know is We're at home here
This is sure where we belong
He took this world and gave it to us
This is sure where we belong

When the idols fall; we'll be sa-fe, in You
When their light fades; we will re-st, in You

All I know is We're at home here
This is sure where we belong
He took this world and gave it to us
This is sure where we belong
[x2]

Where we belong, where we belong
Where we belong, where we belong

In your Presence, Lord

( to be sung to the tune of 'Kumbaya' )

In Your Presence, Lord, let us live, let us live, let us live
In Your Presence, Lord, let us live, let us live, let us live!
In Your Presence, Lord, let us live,
Oh our Lord, let us live!

We will live, oh Lord, we will live,
We will live, we will live!
In Your Presence Lord, we will live,
Oh Lord, by your Grace.

Let us love oh Lord, by your Law, by your Law, by your Law!
Let us love oh Lord, by your Law, by your Law, by your Law!
Let us love oh Lord, by your Law,
Oh Lord, by Your Law!

We will love, oh Lord, we will love,
We will love, we will love!
In Your Presence Lord, we will love,
Oh Lord, by your Law!

Hear our pray'r, oh Lord, hear our pray'r, hear our pray'r, hear our pray'r!
Hear our pray'r, oh Lord, hear our pray'r, hear our pray'r, hear our pray'r,
You have heard, oh Lord, our deep pray'r,
Oh Lord, in Your Love!

You have answered Lord, in your love,
In Your Love, in Your Love!
You have answered Lord, in Your Love,
Oh Lord, in Your Love!

We are singing Lord, in our Joy, in our Joy, in our Joy,
We are singing Lord, in our Joy, in our joy, in our joy
In your Presence Lord, we sing our praise,
Oh Lord, in our Joy!

You're our Joy, oh Lord, you're our Joy,
You're our Joy, You're our Joy,
You're our Joy, oh Lord, You're our Joy,
Oh Lord, you're our Joy!

In Your Joy, oh Lord, we shall live, we shall live, we shall live,
In Your Joy, oh Lord, we shall live, we shall live, we shall live,
In Your Joy, oh Lord, we shall live,
Oh, Lord, in Your Love!

As we live, oh Lord, we shall love,
We shall love, we shall love,
As we live, oh Lord, we shall love,
We shall love, oh Lord, with our lives!

Break Lord the Bread of Life

You broke the Bread of Life, for us did die,
When on the cross you hung, our sacri-fice;
Beyond the written page, we seek You Lord,
Our spirits live through You, O Living Word!

You blessed the Truth to us, Lord now we see,
For You did break our chains and set us free;
Now does our bondage cease, all fetters fall,
Now we have found our peace, our All in All!

You are the Bread of Life, Wine on the lee,
Your Word the very Truth that set us free,
Gave us to eat and drink, with You above,
Taught us to love in Truth, for You are Love!

Your Spirit dwells with us, Your Temple we,
For He did touch our eyes, and now we see,
Showed us the truth concealed, within Your Word,
And in our lives revealed, they see the Lord!

For Joy Our Blessed Savior Died

For joy our blessed Savior died; He died to set us free,
God sent His Son to save us all, His pe-ople to redeem!

'Twas for the sin of Adam's race, He died upon the tree,
Amazing pity, Grace unknown, and Lo-ve beyond degree!

Then did the sun in darkness hide, and show His shame no more,
Thus now we show our gratefulness, when glor-ies thus we face!

No more we hide our radiant face, when our own cross appears,
He has revealed His heart to us, and took a-way our tears!

For drops of grief will ne'er repay, the debt to Love we owe,
So Lord, we give our lives to you, 'tis all that we can do!

Now Thank We All Our God

Now thank we all our God, with hearts and hands and voices!
Who wondrous things hath done, in whom His world rejoices,
Who, from our mother's womb, has blessed us on our way
With count-less gifts of love, and still is ours today!

O praise our bounteous God; He, all our life, is with us,
With ev-er joy-ful hearts, and blessed peace to lift us;
And keeps us in His grace, and guides us in our way,
Has freed us from all ills, in never-ending day!

All praise and thanks to God, the Father now be given;
The Son and He who reigns, to God in highest Heaven,
The One eternal God, whom earth and heav'n adore,
 For thus it was, is now, and shall be evermore!

God's Presence

Now that we're in 'Heaven',
No more need to cry,
Living in God's Presence,
No more death to die;
All God's holy people living for Him now!

 Some, they may say,
That we're dreaming, but we're not the only ones
We know that some day all will join us,
And the Kingdom will grow as one!

Living in God's country,
Resting in Him too;
We have but to serve Him,
Bringing Life to bear,
With all of God's creatures living in His peace!

Some, they may say,
That we're dreaming, but we're not the only ones
We know that some day all will join us,
And the Kingdom will grow as one!

Living in the Garden,
We have all we need ;
No more greed or hunger
The brotherhood of man
Imagine all God's people sharing all God's world!

Some, they may say,
That we're dreaming, but we're not the only ones
We know that some day all will join us,
And the Kingdom will grow as one!

( to be sung to the tune of John Lennon's 'Imagine' )

Come, We That Love the Lord

Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in His song with sweet accord,
And thus surround the throne!

Though they refuse to sing,
Who never knew our God;
We, children of the heav'nly King,
Will voice our joys abroad!

People of grace have found,
God's glory here below;
Most heav'nly fruit on earthly ground,
Through faith and hope do grow!

So let our songs abound,
And every tear be dried;
We're marching through Emmanuel's Land,
And fairer worlds on high!

You Servants of God

You servants of God, your Master proclaim,
And publish abroad His wonderful Name;
The Name all victorious of Jesus extol,
His kingdom is glorious and rules over all.

The waves of the sea have lift up their voice,
Sore troubled that we in Jesus rejoice;
The floods they are roaring, but Jesus is here;
While we are adoring, He always is near.

When the wicked engage, the billows arise,
And horribly rage, and threaten the skies:
Their fury shall never our steadfastness shock,
The weakest believer is built on the Rock.

God ruleth on high, almighty to save,
And still He is nigh, His presence we have;
The great congregation His triumph shall sing,
Ascribing salvation to Jesus, our King.

“Salvation to God, who sits on the throne!”
Let all cry aloud and honor the Son;
The praises of Jesus His Saints do proclaim,
Fall down on their faces and worship the Lamb.

Then let us adore and give Him His right,
All glory and power, all wisdom and might;
All honor and blessing with hosts up above,
And thanks never ceasing and infinite love.

We Praise You, O God, Our Redeemer

We praise You, O God, our Redeemer, Creator,
In grateful devotion our tribute we bring;
We lay it before You, we kneel and adore You,
We bless Your holy Name, glad praises we sing.

We worship You, God of our fathers, we bless You;
Through life’s storm and tempest our guide You have been;
When perils overtake us, victori'us You have made us,
And with Your help, O Lord, our battles we win.

With voices united our praises we offer,
To You, great Jehovah, glad anthems we raise.
Your strong arm does guide us, our God is beside us,
To You, our great Redeemer, forever be praise.

Cory later added this stanza for use at Christmas:

Your love You did show us, Your only Son sending,
Who came as a Babe and Whose bed was a stall,
His blest life He gave us and then died to save us;
We praise You, O Lord, for Your gift to us all.

O, Worship the King

O worship the King, all glorious above,
And gratefully sing His power and His love;
Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days,
Pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.

O tell of His might, O sing of His grace,
Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space,
His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,
And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.

The earth with its store of wonders untold,
Almighty, Thy power hath founded of old;
Established it fast by a changeless decree,
And round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea.

Your bountiful care, what tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,
And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.

Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
In You do we trust, nor find You to fail;
Your  mercies how tender, how firm to the end,
Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.

O measureless might! Ineffable love!
While angels delight to worship You above,
The humbler creation, though feeble their lays,
With true adoration shall all sing Your praise.

Sing Praise to God Who Reigns Above

Sing praise to God who reigns above,
The God of all creation,
The God of power, the God of love,
The Ruler of all nations;
With healing balm our lives He fills,
And every faithless murmur stills:
To God all praise and glory.

Your sacred host, O King of kings,
Your praise for ever telling,
In earth and sky all living things
Beneath thy shadow dwelling,
Adore the wisdom which did span
The power which formed creation's plan:
To God all praise and glory.

What God's almighty power hath made,
His gracious mercy keepeth;
By morning glow or evening shade
His watchful eye ne'er sleepeth.
Within the kingdom of his might,
Lo! all is just and all is right:
To God all praise and glory.

As all our gladsome days along
We sing aloud Your praises,
That men may hear the grateful song
Our voice unwearied raises:
Be joyful in the Lord, for hark!
Both soul and body bear their part!
To God all praise and glory.

All those who name Christ's holy name
Give God all praise and glory;
Let all who know His power proclaim
Aloud the wondrous story!
Cast each false idol from its throne,
The Lord is God, and He alone:
To God all praise and glory.

Be Exalted O God

We will give thanks to You, O Lord; among the peoples,
We will sing praises to You among the nations!
For Your steadfast love is great, is great in the heavens,
And Your faithfulness, Your faithfulness in the clouds!

Be exalted, O God, throughout the heavens,
For Your glory is over all the earth!

Be exalted, O God, throughout the heavens,
For Your glory is over all the earth!

repeat

Praise, O Praise, the King of Heaven

Praise, O praise the King of Heaven;
To His feet our tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing:
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King.

Praise Him for His grace and favor
To our fathers in distress.
Praise Him still the same as ever,
Slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Glorious in His faithfulness.

Fatherlike He tends and spares us;
Well our feeble frame He knows.
In His hands He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Widely yet His mercy flows.

Frail as summer’s flower we flourish,
Blows the wind and it is gone;
But while mortals rise and perish
Our God lives unchanging on,
Praise Him, Praise Him, Hallelujah
Praise the High Eternal One!

Angels, now with us adore Him;
We behold Him face to face;
Sun and moon, bow down before Him,
Dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace.

The God of Abraham Praise

The God of Abraham praise, who reigns enthroned above,
Ancient of everlasting days, and God of love.
Jehovah, Great I AM, by earth and heav'n confessed,
We bow and bless the sacred Name, forever blest!

The God of Abraham praise, at whose supreme command,
New creatures we've been made, to rule at His right hand.
We ne'er shall Him forsake, but wisdom, fame and power,
For He our only fortress is, our strength and tower!

He by Himself hath sworn, we on His oath do rest,
We now, on eagle's wings upborne, in heav'n are blest.
We now behold His face, we do His power adore,
And sing the wonders of His grace, forevermore!

The whole triumphant host; give thanks to God on high,
'Hail Father, Son and Holy Ghost', we ever cry!
Hail Abraham's God and ours, we join the heav'nly lays,
All might and majesty are Yours, and endless praise!

He Did Come, the Promised Savior

He did come, the promised Savior; born to set His people free!
From our sins and fears released us, now we've found our rest in Thee!
Israel's strength and consolation, Lord of all the earth Thou art!
Dear desire of ev'ry nation, joy of ev'ry longing heart!

Born His people to deliver, born a Child and yet a King;
Born to reign through us forever, we His present Kingdom sing!
By His own eternal Spirit, ruling through His pow'r alone.
By His all-sufficient merit, raised us to glorious throne!

Joy to the World

Joy to the world! The Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart,
Prepare Him room!
And heav'n and God's earth sing,
And heav'n and God's earth sing,
And heav'n, and heav'n and God's earth sing!

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!
Let Saints their songs employ!
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, Repeat, the sounding joy!

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove,
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love;
And wonders of His love;
And wonders, wonders of His love.

No more must sin and sorrow grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He came to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse was found,
Far as the curse was found,
Far as, far as the curse was found.

Rejoice! Rejoice in the Most High,
While Israel spreads abroad:
Like stars that glitter in the sky,
And all men ever bow the knee,
And ever worship God,
And ever, and ever worship God.

Blessed Assurance

Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine;
Oh what a state of glory sublime
Inherited salvation, and purchased of God,
I'm born of His Spirit and washed in His blood.

refrain

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long!
This my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long!

Perfect remission, perfect delight,
I've been forgiven, now Christ is my Light!
He has descended, brought from above,
Our Father's mercy, His perfect love!

( refrain )

Perfect redemption, all is at rest,
I in my Savior am happy and blessed!
Working and serving, our Strength above!
Filled with His goodness, sharing His love!

( refrain )
